    ERISA Disputes

    One of the primary issues with qualified retirement plans is to ensure the plan did not pay more than fair market value when it acquired stock and received at least fair market value when it sold stock, in accordance with the regulations of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). We have assisted clients on issues of value that are in dispute as a result of audits performed by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
